WALL HOUSE
Studio project, autumn 2007

A two storey house for a middle age couple in the west part of Lund, Sweden. The client ordered a psychotherapy practice that could be closed off from the rest of the house. The couple wanted to live in a spacious and open house.

The concept is three heavy walls in linear direction, that shape the house. The walls are creating a strong axis trough the building from the street out to the garden.

The public space is on the ground floor while the first floor is more private. The materials used in the house are grey slate, white opaque glass and transparent glass.
